Stefania Dalfrà graduated from the University of Pharmacy of Padua, and obtained a Master's Degree in Herbal medicine, a Diploma of Toxicology and a Degree of specialization in Health Law.
She is now active as a pharmacist at the Ministry of Health, Directorate General, Food Safety and Nutrition, Office IV which is responsible for foods for particular nutritional purposes (PARNUTS), food supplements, novel foods, foods with added vitamins and minerals, functional foods and herbal products.
She is particularly responsible for the notification for the marketing of food supplements and use of plants and plant-substances in food supplements.
She represents the Ministry of Health in the European Union and other institutions (EFSA) on issues related to nutrition and food safety.
She gives classes in matters relating to diet, nutrition and food safety to master graduate students and in seminars organized by local health authorities, professional associations, including in the training program continues ECM, or directed to NAS.
